Pure Networks has been a valued partner to the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital (RVEEH), providing expert support in strengthening and modernising the hospital’s network and endpoint security.

Networks successfully upgraded and fortified RVEEH's perimeter security by deploying PA-1420 firewall clusters integrated with Cortex Datalake and AIOps (Strata Cloud Manager). This solution has significantly enhanced the hospital's ability to monitor, analyse, and respond to potential security threats.

Additionally, Pure Networks implemented and configured the Cortex XDR Pro endpoint security solution for over 575 devices, delivering a robust and unified platform for detecting and mitigating endpoint threats across the organisation.

To further address the hospital’s security and operational needs, Pure Networks introduced advanced technology to identify and map all IoT devices distributed throughout the building. This was achieved using the Forescout platform, providing enhanced visibility and control over the hospital's IoT ecosystem.

Royal Victoria Eye & Ear Hospital

Pure Networks has been a trusted supplier to the Mater Private Hospital since 2022 and continues to deliver exceptional support and services in network security and infrastructure management.

Pure Networks has provided, configured, and managed four PA-3430 firewalls, arranged into two high-availability clusters that serve the Mater Private Hospital’s facilities in both Cork and Dublin. These clusters have been seamlessly integrated into the hospital’s existing network architecture using the dynamic routing protocol OSPF (Open Shortest Path First). This integration has ensured optimal performance and reliability for securing critical hospital systems.

Notably, Pure Networks has implemented secure connectivity for the hospital’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) servers over a stretched VLAN using VXLAN technology. This setup ensures data security and continuity across the hospital’s sites.

Further enhancing the hospital’s network security, the firewalls have been configured following zero-trust principles. This approach ensures thorough internal network segmentation, significantly improving the hospital’s cybersecurity posture.

Mater Private Hospital

Pure Networks has been a key partner to KSG Group, successfully delivering advanced network solutions to meet the organisation's demanding requirements and timelines.

Pure Networks deployed the Prisma SD-WAN solution to 90 KSG Group locations, achieving rapid implementation with up to 8–10 sites completed per day during peak rollout. This deployment included 90+ Prisma SD-WAN 1200-5G Series devices, leveraging a mix of internet service providers, including fixed-line, fibre, and 5G/4G cellular technology, ensuring robust and flexible connectivity across all sites.

The network solution also incorporated a Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall hosted in Pure Cloud, Pure Networks' privately owned and operated server infrastructure located in a Tier 1 datacentre in Dublin. This architecture provided KSG Group with a secure, scalable, and high-performance network foundation. In addition to the SD-WAN rollout, Pure Networks administers the Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR Pro endpoint solution for KSG Group, delivering a unified and proactive approach to endpoint security.

Throughout the project, Pure Networks managed the design, implementation, and post-implementation support of the provided technologies, consistently receiving excellent feedback from KSG Group for their expertise and efficiency.
