Rubrik is a global cyber resilience and data security company, publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: RBRK) and headquartered in Palo Alto, California. Rubrik describes itself as “the Security and AI Operations Company,” and its platform, Rubrik Security Cloud, gives organisations a single control plane to protect, secure, and recover their data across on-premises systems, cloud environments, and SaaS applications such as Microsoft 365.

At its core, Rubrik is built to take the uncertainty out of ransomware and data loss events. Its platform combines immutable, air gapped backups with data security posture management, threat and anomaly detection, and identity resilience, monitoring how users and applications access data so that unusual or malicious activity can be spotted and contained early. When an incident does happen, Rubrik is designed to help organisations identify a clean, malware free recovery point and restore operations quickly, rather than simply restoring a backup and hoping it is safe.

Rubrik is a natural extension of Pure Networks’ cybersecurity portfolio. Where Pure Networks’ existing partners, such as Palo Alto Networks, Arctic Wolf, and Netskope, focus on prevention, detection, and response, Rubrik closes the loop on cyber resilience: ensuring that if an attack does get through, our clients have a clean, verified copy of their data to recover from, minimising downtime and removing the pressure to pay a ransom.

Rubrik’s identity aware, Zero Trust approach and its integrations with technologies already in the Pure Networks stack (including tools from partners such as CrowdStrike and Okta) mean it complements, rather than competes with, our current offering.
