Horizon3.ai, the company behind the NodeZero autonomous penetration testing platform, has raised $250 million in Series E funding at a valuation of more than $2 billion, tripling its valuation in just over a year. The round reflects accelerating demand for continuous, AI-driven security validation as organisations face attacks that increasingly move at machine speed.

The funding follows the launch of NodeZero WebApp Pentesting, which extends Horizon3.ai’s autonomous testing capability to web applications, chaining together vulnerabilities the way a real attacker would, from application weaknesses through to credential theft, lateral movement and sensitive data exposure. Horizon3.ai has also opened a new EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam this year, reflecting growing demand for autonomous security validation across Europe.

Why it matters for Pure Networks customers: As a Horizon3.ai partner, Pure Networks brings NodeZero to organisations across Ireland and the UK. The expansion into web application testing means customers can now validate a wider range of attack paths, not just network and cloud environments, giving a more complete, continuously verified picture of exposure ahead of NIS2 and DORA compliance deadlines.
