Pure Networks and Horizon3.ai Partner to Bring Autonomous Penetration Testing to Irish Organisations

Dublin, Ireland – 27.01.26

Pure Networks today announced a new partnership with Horizon3.ai, the leading provider of offensive security solutions, to help organisations across Ireland proactively identify, prioritise, and validate real-world cyber risk using attacker-led testing techniques.

Through this partnership, Pure Networks will deliver Horizon3.ai’s NodeZero® Offensive Security Platform as part of its broader cybersecurity services portfolio, enabling customers to continuously validate whether attackers can actually exploit weaknesses across their on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Traditional vulnerability management and periodic penetration testing often leave organisations with blind spots. Vulnerabilities are identified, but rarely verified in the context of how an attacker would chain them together to achieve impact. This partnership is designed to close that gap by helping customers move from theoretical risk to proven exposure.

“Too many security programmes still rely on assumptions,” said Gerry Sheldrick, Chief Operations Officer at Pure Networks. “Attackers don’t care about vulnerability scores or compliance checklists. They care about what they can actually break. By partnering with Horizon3.ai, we can now offer autonomous pentesting enabling organisations to see themselves through the eyes of the attacker.  With this attacker perspective, organisations can continuously identify critical, exploitable weaknesses that they must immediately fix.

Gerry added, “This is genuinely some of the most advanced and effective security technology we’ve seen. This enables us to focus remediation efforts where they truly matter and deliver a measurable improvement in our customers’ security posture.”

The NodeZero platform performs real attacks safely in production environments, stopping short of disruption while providing clear evidence of exploitability, attack paths, and potential business impact. This allows security teams to prioritise fixes, verify remediation, and demonstrate measurable risk reduction over time.

For Pure Networks customers, the partnership supports a more outcomes-driven approach to security, aligning offensive testing with operational goals such as reduced dwell time, faster remediation, and improved confidence in defensive controls.

“Boards and regulators are no longer satisfied with assurances that controls are in place,” said Keith Poyser, Vice President, EMEA at Horizon3.ai. “They want evidence that those controls actually work under real attack conditions. Partnerships like this matter because they shift the conversation from ‘we think we’re secure’ to ‘we continuously verify it’ That’s a critical distinction for organisations operating under frameworks like NIS2 and DORA.”

Pure Networks will work closely with customers to integrate offensive security validation into existing security operations, ensuring testing results are actionable, repeatable, and aligned to business risk rather than isolated technical findings.
